Distance: 5k, 1.5 mile fun walk
This race will be a benefit race to help support the Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency(JACOA). JACOA provides substance abuse treatment and housing for men and women in Tennessee. This 5k/1.5 mile fun walk will take place in downtown Jackson and will be open for individual runners or families. Registration will be from 6-7 pm at the West TN Farmer's Market. The race will start at 7:12 pm. There will be a block party featuring local pizza vendors, live music and door prizes immediately following the race. Registration is $25 before June 1st, $30 day of race. Family registration is $45(2 runners/any number of walkers) before June 1st, $55 day of race. After registering you and your partner, you will need to go back and register your walkers using the mail in option. If you'd like to support JACOA, but don't want to enter the race, you can choose the "ghost runner" option and still receive a race t-shirt. Each runner that is pre-registered by June 1st will be guaranteed a t-shirt. We look forward to seeing you downtown on June 13th!
